Lima beans are sometimes called butter beans. These beans are beige and larger than baby limas. Baby lima beans are actually immature or young limas. They are identified by their green color and smaller size. Both lima and baby lima beans are moon-shaped. Both of these beans are a good source of plant-based protein, fiber, iron, and other nutrients that make them an excellent addition to a healthy dietary plan.
