I got the black forest nuts. What I didn't realise it was hot out so all the chocolate meltdown ted. I put it in the freezer. I Broke pieces off. Yummy stuff.

This mix is by far my favorite!! I love the buttery flavor of the walnuts and when paired with dark chocolate...MAGICAL!!! My only suggestion is that if you order during the summer/hot months, spring for the express shipping. My last order was delivered all melted with everything being stuck together. read more... When I got it home, I put it beneath an air conditioner vent and once it cooled, it was like a rock. I don't blame Nutstop for this at all as they did put cooling packs inside the insulated package, it's the hot hot weather out west!!!

I’ve been hiking all of my life and love eating trail mix when I’m out. Recently I have started dieting, and all of the mixes that I like have tons of added sugars from the chocolate. When I found that the Black Forest Mix has dark chocolate, and had less read more... than 10g of added sugars, I was hooked. I am happy to report that this mix is very tasty and is very nice for hiking. The walnuts are a very nice addition, not something that I see very often in trail mix.

Reminds me of the times I lived in the Black Forrest in Germany! Love the mix. Yes, it does melt and that should be prevented somehow with shipping. But, as others said - becomes a bark and you can have chunks of chocolate goodness.

Absolutely fantastic blend. I would like more dried cherries, but it may have been that I hunted through the bag to eat all of them first. While I highly recommend this blend, I don't recommend getting mixes with chocolate delivered during the Summer to Texas unless you like having the read more... chocolate coat pretty much everything in the mix. I don't mind though, it becomes a crazy almond bark at that point.

I'd be lying if I said I don't sometimes try to just pick out the chocolate chunks and cocoa-dusted almonds for myself, but the whole mix is really good. Really good to crush up and put on top of ice cream :-)

This trail mix and the Spanish Cocktail are our favorites after trying a variety on our first order. I love that this one. Satisfies the chocolate and nut craving in one handful. I was worried about the quality of the chocolate, but it is excellent and the nuts are divine. read more... Bravo!

I had to try this based on the name alone. Black forest! This is one of the indulgent trail mixes that Nutstop offers: dark chocolate, cherries, walnuts, almonds (some covered in chocolate). I'm a huge fan of all these ingredients. And the dark chocolate with the read more... tart cherries is such an awesome contrast, then the walnuts and almonds also compliment the flavor while including some protein. But dark chocolate is good for you! I love this blend, the only thing I could wish for is more cherries. But possibly there was just a lesser amount of cherries in my sample. This is the "dessert" trail mix. Also, there is always the idea of buying the ingredients from Nutstop and blending your OWN perfect trail mixes.... like buying more cherries and adding some to this blend.
